TMR Trip Block with two-out-of-three voting
The Trip Block ensures the loss of the so-called trip oil. It is carried out safely, in connection with the electronic safe system (overspeed protection). Trip oil controls the servomotors of stop valves of the turbine – see following scheme. Stop (Trip) valves are controlled by trip oil pressure that is created in TMR Trip Block. Trip oil pressure opens stop valves and on pressure loss the valves are closed by springs.
